We were so so glad that Jacob made an appointment for Caleb and that this sweet gal, Deann, helped us out. She was not a member of the Church, but as soon as she found out that Caleb was getting suits for the purpose of serving a mission, she knew exactly what that entailed and was full of practical advise and suit-related knowledge. Clearly, she had helped other missionaries before. She told him that what he was doing was God's work. She was seriously so sweet, and made Caleb feel and LOOK like a million bucks. She even made sure that we didn't break the bank to do it. Bonus! 

It wasn't long after that that Caleb got a special package in the mail from the Church. His missionary tags! Things suddenly got REALLY real! 

Along with the tags came a little card certifying that Caleb is an ordained minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ, signed by the prophet in ink! He also received all of his little missionary handbooks of instruction. Now he is ready to get this party started!
