Our First Baby Visitors!

My brother Don, his wife, Maya, and their two littles came to visit us for about 5 days. They were our first visitors to our new house, and our first visitors with babies. Luckily, I held on to our old toddler toys and was able to borrow a high chair, baby gate and spare playpen from some ladies in the ward, and were all set to welcome them!

We took them around a bit of Spokane, including to Riverfront park to ride on the carrousel.

There was also a lot of gaming involved, but since it is my brother, that was no big surprise.

Maya even got in on the fun.

I did manage to get Maya to agree to come to Zumba with me at the church. Breanna always does a great job. It is a good time.

None of us could get enough of little baby Charlotte, and the boys, especially Jake, would scoop her up and kiss those sweet cheeks.

Thomas LOVED Riley, and Riley did such a great job of being a big cousin. He would take Thomas into the backyard and play with him on the play set or just play with him around the house. I think he enjoyed getting to be the big kid, and he was so good at it. Thomas just adored him.

The days were super hot, so we took a day and when to Witter pool for a swim. That felt good.

We also took them over to Coeur d'Alene to see the awesome city park, beach and main street. I think we may have convinced them of what a great place Spokane is to live and raise a family.

It sure was nice to get to visit with family and have some cousins around!
