Fall Family Fun
With the threat of snow coming, we decided to hit it hard and get the fall leaves cleaned up. We also decided reward ourselves with some Halloween activities and games.
The boys made ghosts out of white balloons and had a little relay race called "Ghost Waiter" where they had to race up and down the hallway while "balancing" their ghost balloon on a paper plate. Jacob totally cheated, but it was fun to watch.
We also attempted to make green glitter slime with Elmer's glue and Borax. It was a Pinterest fail, but Jacob got to freak everyone out by acting like he was going to plop it on them. We also had an "exploding pumpkin" by putting baking soda and vinegar in a cleaned out pumpkin to see what it would do. Riley was impressed. Then, we ended the night with a spider blowing race. Everyone got a straw and a plastic spider and had to blow their spider across the kitchen floor and across the finish line. Caleb was the champion because Brendan couldn't stop laughing. It was a good time! We are feeling you, Fall!
