In the Words of The Count
Von, two, THREE! Three VONderful train lovers! Ah, ah, ah!
I have another child now who askes me regularly to help build a train track. Riley has finally taken to the Thomas collection, and it's nearly an every day event. This particular day, he wanted to set it up on the table rather than the usual floor, so he would go around the table to help his trains around the track.
You may have noticed the lack of pants. Well, among his recent skill set is the ability to take off his own pants. And he uses this ability daily. He also doesn't like having socks on without shoes, so bare feet is the way to go. He really enjoys going to the park and goes down all the big slides by himself (the believes that he's actually seven-years-old like Brendan), and likes going on the baby swings...as long as I don't push him too much. He "allows" me to push him just enough to keep some momentum and then wants to do it himself.
He also wants to brush his teeth himself, get into his carseat himself and take his breakfast to the table himself. (If only he would sit on a toilet and do his business by himself. LOL He can be one stubborn little boy. Wonder where he gets it.) That's my little independent two-year-old. He knows what he wants and what he likes. Welcome to the Jerdon Family Train-lovers Club, Riley!
