Kid Logic: Stopped Cars
Driving down 30th just before passing Lane Community College towards the I-5, Caleb notices a car stopped on the side of the road on the opposite side of traffic.
Here is his logic as expressed to me.
Caleb: "Mom, somebody must be going wee-wee over there."
Mom: (who hadn't even noticed the car is surprised at his sudden, unique comment) "What? What makes you say that, Caleb?"
Caleb: (matter-of-factly) "The car is stopped, but the lights are on."
Mom: (conceding his line of thinking, never-the-less trying not to bust out laughing) "That's very true. I guess ya never know."
Obviously, having to stop for the occasional emergency "boy toilet" while on the freeway has taken its effect. Kid logic.
