Lazy Summer Day

Today we took advantage of Eugene's amazing Park & Rec program. During the summer months, they offer free activities at all of the city parks - a new activity every week. They also have wading pools at many of them, so today we planned a picnic lunch and biked it over to Washington Park to decorate some little drawstring backpacks and splash around in the pool.
The weather was beautiful and sunny, and, with a nice breeze, wasn't too terribly hot. The boys had so much fun in the pool and did a great job with their backpacks. Hooray for summer!
